A New Voice in MODERN Soul
An October Child
I’m an October child, born and raised in the City of Light by an extraordinary woman, an immigrant from Cameroon. Language was always a question: tradition or modernity, French or English?
In our small apartment, the sounds of African music playing on cassette blended with the pop melodies drifting from the radio.
"The vibrations took over, moving through our bodies in organic rhythms, filling our notebooks with poetry and free expression."
That’s how I fell in love with singing, alongside my sisters, in a home torn apart, finding in words a guiding thread that led me through.

It was the beginning of a journey: years of transformation, of challenging conventions and embracing every side of who I am. From backing vocalist to solo artist, from television stages to musical theatre, from rock to neo-soul and R&B…
Along the way, I discovered countless reflections of myself. And through it all, the stage, as dazzling as it may be, became my home.
The one I chose.
Since then, I’ve danced at the edge of possibility.
As a teenager, I found my voice in a French gospel choir, where I discovered a deeper meaning in the words I sang and a soul within my artistry.

STRENGTH AND SOFTNESS

Strength
and Softness
In 2015, I released an EP titled “Joseph,”
a tribute to my late father. I then traveled the world performing alongside artists such as Aya Nakamura, Youssoupha and Trust, while continuing to write words and melodies of my own, kept mostly within the intimacy of my laptop.
